Daniela, 11 years old, and Jorge, 13 years old, who live in Ciudad Bolivar and are part of the social support process of the Colombianitos Foundation, had the opportunity to participate in the training with the Manchester United players and their trainer, Jose Mourinho.
Moreover, they shared with the First Team players, they attended the football school of Manchester United and marched the mythical stadium Old Trafford, known as the “Theatre of Dreams”.
The kids could fulfill this dream that every small football has, thanks to their exemplary behavior in the Foundation, where they are references for their good grades, no matter the conflictual context that Ciudad Bolivar presents.
The peak moment was on September 24^th, when they marched the Old Trafford field, holding the hand of the Manchester United players and saw that each one of their idols had their name on the t-shirts.
“To be a good son, a good student, meeting with the tasks, is good and produces positive results. Let them be leaders, but do not allow them to become gang leaders.” said Beatriz Correa, representative of Colombianitos.
The story of Jorge and Daniela, is the story of a dream, which proves that with discipline any aspiration can be reached.
